Aunt Renee and Aunt Jodi know...

Mommy had to tell them! Mommy told Aunt Jodi over the phone, but she waited until Aunt Renee came over for your brother's birthday party to tell her and Uncle Brad. They were so excited!

Lab results...

You are definitely in mommy. My progesterone was low again (it was with your brother too) so Kristen (NP) prescribed Prometrium for us. It worked with Thomas so mommy and daddy have been saying prayers that it will work with you too. We go to see Dr. Collins in 2 weeks. I hate waiting that long!

Who we told...

We had to tell Aunt Nicole since she was the first one who knew when your brother, Thomas was on his way. Mommy called and told her in the afternoon. We also told Great Aunt Donna even though mommy and daddy weren't going to tell family yet, she figured it out when mommy asked when her birthday was in August. You are due right around Aunt Nicole's and GA Donna's birthday.

Blood work

Mommy really doesn't like to have her blood drawn but you are definitely worth it! Mommy was stuck 5 times! Dr. Collins will have the results on Tuesday but the office is still closed for Christmas so I will have to wait until Wednesday to find out the results. I hope everything looks good. I think I'm about 6 weeks based on my LMP.

Positive Pregnancy Test!

Hi little one...it's your mommy. Mommy hasn't been feeling very good the last couple days so this morning she took a pregnancy test and guess what? It was positive! So here's the beginning of your life as we know it.

After I saw that the test was positive, I climbed back into bed and told daddy that I had an early Christmas present for him. I shined the flashlight on the test and showed him. He was definitely excited, but teased and said he already knew because of how I had been feeling. Silly daddy!

I waited until Dr. Collins' office was open and called and scheduled my first appointment with her. I'm also getting some extra bloodwork drawn because I want to make sure you stick and my body knows what to do. I'm going tomorrow to Quest.

I'm so excited!
